ODU – HUMANITARIAN · The unthinkable has happened. Like many people in Ukraine, the Netherlands and worldwide, the OpenDoorUkraine.NL (ODU) Foundation is shocked by the sudden military attack by Russian President Putin on his neighboring country. This invasion is the beginning of a long night for Ukraine.
In this difficult and most dangerous phase since it regained its independence thirty years ago, Ukraine needs all our support. We support the Ukrainians in this fight for the survival of their country.
OpenDoorUkraine.NL therefore asks for generous support from the Netherlands and the Netherlands for refugees and other war victims in Ukraine. Thanks to our many contacts with a multitude of local organizations for humanitarian aid in the Netherlands, ODU can contribute as a network organization in this crisis. Your help is welcome.

Several organizations in the Netherlands have already launched relief efforts and opened special accounts for fundraising, such as the Refugee Foundation , UN refugee organization UNHCR and the Dutch Red Cross . They expect that food, water, medical and psychosocial assistance will be needed for those who had to flee.
