The horrors in Ukraine do not stop. After the Ukrainian army managed to thwart the first Russian attacks with unexpected successes, Russia appears to have resorted to a scorched earth tactic. Cities, civilian infrastructure, residential areas and even nuclear power stations are being bombed mercilessly – already resulting in millions of refugees across the border and masses of displaced people within our own country.
Therefore, come to Dam Square in Amsterdam on Sunday at 2:00 PM to support the Ukrainian people in this struggle for survival. OpenDoorUkraine.NL supports this initiative of the Ukrainians in the Netherlands foundation , and will be present, together with civil society organizations such as PAX for Peace , Transparency International, Humanity in Action, Foundation Max van der Stoel and many others.
