Restoration of the roof of a school.
The Chernihiv Trisviatsko-Slobidsky Lyceum roof restoration project addresses the critical need for roof repair at this educational institution. Located on the outskirts of Chernihiv, a city significantly affected by Russian aggression during the first weeks of the war, the lyceum suffered damage to its roof due to shrapnel and had its windows blown out. The school, with a maximum capacity of 300 children, has continued to function. However, the temporary roof repairs were insufficient to prevent significant leaks and mold growth on ceilings and walls.
With the 2023-2024 school season approaching, it became imperative to carry out urgent roof renovation to avoid capital destruction and maintain the school’s operations. This ensured that essential services continued to be provided to the community of Kyinka and other settlements in the vicinity of the school.
