From Soviet-era kitchens to professional kitchen equipment
When we asked the team at the Berezkiv Art Lyceum in the Mykolaiv region what help they needed most, the answer was very specific: ovens and professional kitchen equipment.
At that time, much of the kitchen equipment dated back to the Soviet era. So we turned to a partner in the Netherlands — a restaurateur who helped us source professional equipment previously used in restaurants.
The lyceum now has a modern kitchen where meals can be prepared for the children every day.
This is a continuation of our work with the school. Previously, OpenDoorUkraine.nl, together with its partners, had helped to renovate the school. This time, with the support of donors from the Netherlands, we helped to refurbish the kitchen.
