Our OpenDoorUkraine.nl team visited the Superhumans Centre in Lviv, one of the most innovative rehabilitation centres in Ukraine, which specialises in prosthetics, reconstructive surgery, rehabilitation and psychological support for military and civilian victims of war.
This unique centre, opened in 2023, is already helping people return to normal life and plans to expand its activities in different regions of Ukraine in the future. Its ambassadors are Olena Zelenska, Sting, Bear Grylls, and it is supported by international foundations and organisations.
This visit was a source of inspiration for us. We saw the latest approaches to psychological support and rehabilitation, which we can use in the creation of a psychological support centre for veterans and their families, which OpenDoorUkraine.nl plans to open.
We believe that psychological support is an integral part of adaptation and return to active life. We thank Superhumans Centre for their openness to cooperation and valuable experience! Together we are building a system of assistance that really changes lives.
