The Build Back Bio team attended the Innovations to Rebuild Ukraine conference in Kyiv

On January 26, the OpenDoorUkraine and Hempire UA teams took part in the Innovations to Rebuild Ukraine conference held in Kyiv. This event brought together innovative projects, businesses, international partners, and experts around a common goal—the sustainable and systematic reconstruction of Ukraine.

The event was particularly valuable due to its focus on international partnerships, which are critical for the large-scale reconstruction of the country in accordance with EU standards and sustainable development principles.

It was important for us to attend this conference, as it is here that an environment is being created where innovative solutions can be turned into real projects for communities, and ideas into long-term recovery programs.

Our partners at Hempire UA joined one of the panel discussions and presented approaches to green construction using biomaterials. During the panel, we presented our joint project Build Back Bio, an initiative that combines innovation, low-carbon materials, and a vision for rebuilding Ukraine as an environmentally responsible and sustainable state.

The Build Back Bio project is implemented with the support of the Ukrainian Partnership Fund (UPF), a program of the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) implemented on behalf of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

We would like to thank the conference organizers and partners for creating a meaningful platform for cooperation and joint work on the future of Ukraine 🇺🇦
