BuildBackBio: the first ‘Painter-Plasterer’ course has been completed in Chernihiv

A training course for painters and plasterers, held at the Chernihiv Professional Construction Lyceum, has been successfully completed in Chernihiv. The programme was implemented as part of the BuildBackBio project, which aims to develop modern, environmentally friendly and sustainable approaches to construction. Representatives of the Ukrainian Builders’ Union and OpenDoorUkraine, the partners who made the programme possible, came to congratulate the graduates.

Participants mastered the full cycle of painter-plasterer work, including decorative plaster application techniques, and successfully passed theoretical and practical exams. People came to the course with different goals: to learn a profession, to learn how to renovate their own homes, or to try their hand at something new.

An important part of the training was the study and practical use of eco-friendly lime-hemp plasters and lime-flax fillers from Hempire UA, which are in line with the principles of eco-construction and the mission of the BuildBackBio project.

🎓 The course also used Ceresit materials, so graduates received two documents: a certificate of completion and an additional certificate from Henkel confirming their competence in working with the brand’s materials.

We congratulate the participants on completing their training and wish them success in their future professional activities!
