OpenDoorUkraine.NL continues to work on creating a physical space for the Veteran Mental Healthcare of Excellence (VMHCE). As part of this project, demolition works are underway with the support of Dobrobat volunteers, who play a crucial role in preparing the space for further restoration.
During the meeting with partners from ReThink, we discussed the implementation of circular economy principles and environmental standards in construction. Members of ReThink team, Roman Puchko and Natalie Fadeeva presented the ‘POVTORNO’ platform (one more time, repeatedly), which promotes the reuse of building materials, waste minimisation and rational use of resources. Particular attention was paid to the need to comply with European environmental and construction standards, which is a key aspect of rebuilding Ukraine using modern and sustainable approaches.
We are grateful to our partners and volunteers for their cooperation and expertise. Together we are implementing the best practices of sustainable development and creating a space that meets the highest standards of quality, safety and environmental responsibility.
