OpenDoorUkraine.NL is teaming up with the Harvard Business School Club of the Netherlands and the Harvard Club of the Netherlands for a very special evening: a charity ballet and music gala at Singer Theatre in Laren on 28 November.
Together with these Harvard alumni networks, we’re bringing world-class ballet to the stage for the mothers and children of Ptakha Camp, a recovery camp in the Vinnytsia region where mothers and children who fled the frontline get one week of safety, rest, and care.
The Ukrainian International Ballet, founded in exile in The Hague, unites dancers from Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv and Odesa whose home stages have fallen silent. On 28 November they perform INdependent24, a two-act evening on Humanity, Love and Beauty, opened by pianist Artur Buskov. The evening will be hosted by Vita Kovalenko, a recognized voice of Ukraine in the Dutch media, and board member of OpenDoorUkraine.NL.
Every ticket and every bid goes via our foundation straight to Ptakha Camp. In 2025 alone, Ptakha welcomed 1,267 children and mothers over 132 days. We’re now raising funds, with our Harvard alumni partners, for 12 new wooden cabins, €25,000 each, so every mother can close a door behind her child at night, in a warm bed, without sirens.
