OpenDoorUkraine.NL, in partnership with the Support and Protection Centre and Solidarity, is honoured to be involved in an important project to improve living and learning conditions at an orphanage art lyceum in Mykolaiv region.
Currently, the repair work is ongoing and includes the renovation of key infrastructure elements. Among the stages already completed:
A new wastewater disposal system (septic tank) was installed.
A separate technical room was created to house boiler equipment, ensuring that it is inaccessible to children.
A modern sewage system and heating system were installed.
Separate sanitary and hygienic areas with new partitions for showers and toilets were arranged.
Dismantling works on the second floor of the building have been completed.
Finishing works are ongoing.
All planned activities are expected to be completed within the next two months.
